Samsung stops selling the Galaxy Z Fold2 in the US


Samsung has ceased selling the Galaxy Z Fold2 through its official web shop in the United States. When you go to the page that used to house the device’s listing, you’ll see an error notice that says the “Galaxy Fold is no longer available for purchase on”

The wording is strange because it refers to the original Galaxy Fold, which was out of stock for months after the launch of the Fold2, but it’s possible that the person in charge of copy for such messages simply reused the text from when the original Fold was no longer available through the company’s online store.

The Fold2 is still available at Best Buy and AT&T, but not at Verizon or T-Mobile. All of this implies that Samsung is attempting to take it out of the market gradually; Best Buy and AT&T may just have unsold stock. And, in case you’re wondering why Samsung would do such a thing, we’re not going to read too much into it, but could it be that the Galaxy Z Fold3’s release date is approaching?

So far, we’ve heard that the model will be unveiled in early August, with sales perhaps beginning by the end of the month. Even yet, it’s surprising that the business hasn’t released a top-of-the-line foldable in over two months. So, perhaps
