With the new version, Samsung SmartThings app has been completely overhauled. The current release, which was created in response to consumer input, has a lighter aesthetic that is more in line with the Windows version of the program. Android users have already received the new version, while iOS users will receive it later.
Instead of the previously observed rooms designated to gadgets, the huge new layout has five parts of controls. A Favorites area provides quick access to the most frequently used gadgets and their associated scenarios.
The Devices tab displays all of your connected smart devices. Additional SmartThings services such as SmartThings Find, SmartThings Cooking, and HomeCare Wizard are included in Life.
Automations adds scene controls for activating instructions and actions across your connected devices using the if-then approach. The Menu area, which includes settings, notifications, and history tabs, is the last on the list.
